Since 1896, Florence Crittenton has evolved to meet the changing needs of girls and young women in Arizona.

Through that time, we helped foster the successful healing and recovery of girls and young women who have survived physical and sexual victimization, chronic neglect, homelessness, poverty, teen pregnancy, drug abuse, and mental instability.

Today, Florence Crittenton has evolved once again. After careful consideration based on community needs and the funding landscape, we have made the difficult decision to pause residential and behavioral health programming. As a result, we are no longer accepting individual donations or grant funding.

Instead, the Florence Crittenton legacy continues at our longtime facilities through the Uplift Program and Avance High School.

Uplift is a residential program that serves individuals with serious mental illness who have housing vouchers through HOM, Inc. Residents receive supportive property management to help address their unique housing needs.

Avance High School is a co-ed Community High School that provides an individualized, small school experience for students who thrive in a high-support environment.
