The Behavioral Health Residential Facility (BHRF) is a 40-bed residential treatment program and provides emergency short-term shelter, basic needs and comprehensive long-term support to at-risk girls and young women, ages 10-18.
Trauma Informed care is a key component of the BHRF program. Florence Crittenton staff is able to deliver clients with their own unique treatment interventions by developing an accurate understanding of each client’s unique background using collaborative efforts and comprehensives assessments. The Behavioral Health Residential Facility services include individual, group and family therapy; substance abuse treatment; leadership development and empowerment; independent living skills; psychiatric services; medical care; education; and recreational activities.
The BHRF program uses evidence-based interventions that are gender and culturally responsive. This includes the use of several nationally recognized curricula such as Girls Circle, Seven Challenges, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
